土耳其發生反對政府的示威抗議，過程中警方向穿著紅色洋裝的女性噴射催淚瓦斯的照片，4日在社群網站上廣為流傳，成為治安當局鎮壓過當的證據，引發市民群起批判。

根據共同通信社5日伊斯坦堡報導，這名女性帶著項鍊，肩上揹著白色的包包，典雅溫文無防備的姿態。相對的，警方則戴著防毒面具。

「問題不在沒有(這次示威抗議主題相關的公園)」再開發計畫，而在警方的應對方式。」、「對穿洋裝的女孩使用暴力，引爆我們大家的憤怒！」等意見，紛紛在網路上表達。
