根據巴西媒體「朱恩狄艾地方報」（JJ Regional）報導，鴻海集團已決定在聖保羅州內地城市朱恩狄艾（Jundiai）建新廠，組裝美國蘋果iPad、iPhone產品。此次鴻海高達120億美元的巨額投資，花落巴西似已成定局，集團代表將在下周相繼抵達巴西。對此鴻海集團依然謹守發言分際，表示如有新進度，將俟董事會核可後，再依法對外發布。
鴻海集團近年少見的大手筆投資案即將拍板，根據巴西當地媒體報導，巴西科技部長梅卡但特日前向工黨市議員奧爾拉托透露，鴻海集團已選定在朱恩狄艾設立新廠，稍後他也向「聖保羅頁報」新聞網站證實有關消息。
市場披露巴西投資案後，據悉鴻海集團高層就一直密集與巴西政府就投資條件密談。其中鴻海集團最在意的一項投資條件，就是讓在巴西生產的iPhone和iPad，享有和電腦及筆電一樣的減稅優惠待遇；外傳已獲得巴西政府善意回應，連帶促成雙方的合作順利拍板，就連廠地所在也都已敲定，且新廠除了組裝iPad和iPhone外，也將投入電腦螢幕的生產。
甚至外傳為了即早動工，過去一周至少有20輛貨櫃車將蘋果產品電子零組件運抵位於朱恩迪艾市郊的工業區倉庫。
不過，港股掛牌富士康國際（HK-2038）將在6月7日起生效的恆生指數季度調整，剔除於成份股之外，受此利空影響，富士康昨日盤中一度重挫逾5％，創下52周新低，終場下跌2.96％、收4.26港元。
受手機行業經營環境惡化拖累，富士康繼2010年上半年虧損1.43億美元後，下半年仍未順利扭轉頹勢，拖累全年凈虧損擴大至2.18億美元，每股凈虧損3.06美分，連帶整體毛利率由2009年5.93％，下滑至4.26％，衰退1.67個百分點。

Cada vez mais a situação é favorável à produção dos tablets no Brasil e, mais especificamente, em Jundiaí. De acordo com a revista Isto É Dinheiro, o Governo enviará uma medida provisória ao Congresso que equipara os tablets aos notebooks produzidos no País, já contemplados por benefícios tributários. Assim, a intenção é alterar o regime de tributação. Ainda segundo as informações do site da revista, a nova classificação dos tablets é uma das exigências da taiwanesa Foxconn para iniciar a produção do iPad, da Apple, prevista para julho, na unidade de Jundiaí. Na prática, o preço final dos tablets fabricados no país poderá cair cerca de 30%. A medida provisória será editada nesta segunda-feira e enquadrará os tablets no Processo Produtivo Básico (PPB), um regime especial que concede redução de impostos para eletrônicos fabricados no País. A nova classificação tributária isentará os tablets de PIS/Cofins, o Imposto de Importação será de 10% para componentes importados, a alíquota de IPI será de 3% e a de ICMS, 12%. Hoje, esses produtos recolhem 15% de IPI, 12% de Imposto de Importação, 12% de ICMS e 9,25% de PIS/Cofins. Em entrevista à Isto É Dinheiro, o ministro da Ciência e Tecnologia, Aloizio Mercadante, afirmou que essa medida não beneficiará apenas a Foxconn, mas todas as fabricantes que já produzem ou passem a produzir tablets no Brasil. Chineses em Jundiaí - Uma delegação chinesa, composta por profissionais da área de recursos humanos visitará hoje pela manhã a Secretaria de Recursos Humanos da Prefeitura de Jundiaí. O objetivo da visita é a troca de conhecimentos sobre práticas de gestão de pessoas no serviço público. Oficialmente, a Prefeitura não confirma se a visita tem ou não ligação com a Foxconn e a Apple. Os chineses serão recepcionados pelo secretário Carlos Umberto Rossi e pelo assessor de Assuntos Internacionais da Prefeitura, Miguel Angelo Potenza.
